Organic Gunpowder
Superior Gunpowder
This is a much better grade than most Gunpowder Teas available in the UK. It is made from organic young, quality leaves, rolled into small balls and was named by the British after the gun powder pellets used in their cannons. Called Zhu Cha in China, it is a variety of green tea from Zhejiang Province which has been produced for well over a thousand years - since the Tang Dynasty. The tea liquor has a hint of sweetness with an aftertaste that is smooth and dry. A refreshing afternoon tea.| Chinese Name | Zhu Cha 特级珠茶 |
