Mao Jian Green Tea

I can't knock this tea in all reality because frankly it is very modestly priced, for that modest price it really is a very splendid leaf.
The only thing i am not keen on is the level of oxidization, in many ways this reminds of pouchong which i am not fond of at all.
That being said it is still on the green side of the fence, it just happens to have a great panoramic view of Oolong Village, it does still have a slight buttery twang you would expect from say a 20% oxidised oolong.
As i said in the start, for the money this is an excellent everyday tea, well worth trying if you are put off by the strong vegetal notes of say a longjing.
