Iron Buddha (Tie Guan Yin)

Iron Buddha (Tie Guan Yin)

Product Review (submitted on November 15, 2011):
This tea has a fabulous aroma and an even better taste, light, grounding and smooth with a light floral aftertaste. The colour of the liqour is a green tint of amber gold. First impressions on this tea was very good, when I opened the 10g packet, the leaves were even in size and nicely rounded, the spent leaves were great aswell, un-broken, around 3-4 cm in size and without twigs at all!

But when you take time to explore and try to put a finger on the taste, you find there is another side to this tea, a very deep, smokey and almost earthy taste. Once you have found these mysterious tastes in this tea and other teas, you taste it every time and the tea becomes all the more pleasurable .

Overall, after tasting nearly all the Oolongs on canton tea's website, Tie guan yin is definatly my favorite.
