- Taste of camomile Review by David

I'm joining a long line of reviewers for this tea, each of them expressing their satisfaction and enjoyment of the product: but here I am entering a note of dissent. The butteriness and smooth mouthfeel I duly acknowledge, but to me the taste is of camomile with a hint of fishiness. I tried making it in a YiSha pot and a gaiwan, with no difference - though admittedly there was some improvement on the third infusion. I think I am alone in my view: I suppose it's just not my cup of tea. (Posted on 12/1/11)Rating - Such a nice, little tea Review by Domina in Silva

I used a thermometer and got the water to the recommended temperature. I used a gong fu teapot and did all I was supposed to do, and this tea is just wonderful. A soothing, pale green color and a very pleasant taste. I tasted flowers, but I can't tell which flowers. The aroma of the unsteeped tea is heavenly. Steeped, it is creamy, sweet and delicate on the palate. All this time I was drinking the junk from the grocery store and that isn't even cheap. Everybody should try this tea on a quiet Sunday afternoon. (Posted on 6/27/11)Rating - If you're looking for Oolong, you must visit Canton Tea Review by Melanie at Teaviews

"As expected, it brewed up a gentle green clear liquor, and smelled very sweet. It tasted sweet too, with a slightly creamy background, and fruity notes. I tasted a bit of citrus as well"Rating

"After each drink, the tea lingered on the palate with a soft buttery texture. A second steeping with the same time and temperature was equally delicious and no flavor was lost."Rating

"There was a playful deliciousness to this tea that made it somehow fun to drink and very enjoyable. The second pot was just as delicious as the first, and the flavours began to mellow out the longer I drank this tea."Rating

I love oolongs, and this is a wonderful easy to drink oolong. Excellent hot, and also very good iced I thought. Sweet, a little flowery, with a hint of spice. (Posted on 9/29/10)Rating - I am in love with this tea Review by Mr D

Ali Shan Oolong Tea, fantastic !!Rating
I was working in Taiwan for 6 months last year and was introduced to Taiwan High Mountain Tea and fell in love with it immediately.
Watching the leaves unfold in the bottom of the cup is mesmerising and the flavours are unmatched by any other tea i've tried.
Also i like to put some in a cold bottle of still water overnight (leave a little room in the bottle) and it makes the most refreshing cool drink in the morning..
Since coming back home to England i have struggled to source any... until i discovered YOU sell it.
Thankyou
One very happy customer

My husband accused me of huffing this tea. I don’t know I’d go that far, but oh my goodness, the olfactory treat when I opened the package! This tea smells amazing. Hints of apricots smothered in cream in a sea of oolong-y goodness. I couldn’t wait to get it steeping.Rating
The flavor of this tea is a little more delicate than the scent would suggest. It has a bright, clean taste. The product description said it would be floral – I didn’t getting flowers, but rather almost a spicy afterglow that lingered on my tongue, post swallow. It also has a very silky, smooth texture to the liquid, making it a joy to sip.
And this tea doesn’t disappoint in the visual aspect either. It’s a lovely pale light green. During my first steeping, it was a joy to watch the leaves dance around in the water, unfurling and transforming the water into something special.
Like almost all oolongs, this tea is good for multiple infusions. Perfect for sitting at your desk at work, or relaxing on a lazy afternoon. I also, in deference to the season, tried something which may horrify some purists – I tried this iced. It’s very cooling, and tasty but doesn’t take the ice as well as other oolongs. But all in all – this is a pretty darn good oolong.
