This is a great tea. Can't believe not in stock. When is it likely to be back in Canton? (Posted on 7/6/11)

Very Nice Review by Debbie Chang at It's All About The Leaf

"I liked how the flavours were soft yet I was able to discern varying tastes in my mouth ranging from sweetness, vegetal/seaweed, to a sort of fresh tanginess. Very nice."

Excellent tea. Review by Dorian

I recommend brewing this tea using the glass and straw method, its gentle flavour and unwillingness to over brew are its strengths.
Typically i brew my kettle to a temp of just over 60, i NEVER brew my greens whites or yellows hotter than this, IMO it destroys the flavour.
i heat about one litre of water and i use about 2.5g of tea in my glass.
Its then just as simple as topping off with your cooling kettle water, no need to reheat.
The reason why i enjoy this yellow so much using this method is because you get a sweet quality that is largely missing if you brew by the teapot (teapot renders a stronger bean like flavour)
if you are a fan of the spring teas i really do recommend you try brewing them at 60, you will be surprised at just how complex and fresh the flavours are compared to higher temps.
As as side note, if you are keen on the glass and straw method, i would also recommend the following teas.
Tai Ping Hou Kui
Xu FU Long Ya
Jun Shan Qing Zhen (not Yin Zhen)
An Ji Bai Cha
Lu An Gua Pian.
I personally dont recommend any but the highest grade of Long Jing for this method as they tend to get overly strong and tannic.
Thanks for reading. (Posted on 10/28/10)

Superb - smokey / nutty taste. Review by Paul

A nice stronger flavour tea; quite a long smokey taste that mellows to a nutty flavour. Recommended if you are looking for a green tea with a stronger tang. I brew it slightly longer than other green teas but not too long as it can become too much of a tannin flavour for me. (Posted on 5/4/10)
