Straight Glass Teapot

- Not as robust as advertised Review by Tea lover

The tea infuser is beautiful and produces a lovely brew but I would not agree that it can be used in a busy cafe environment. It just isn't robust enough. I bought my tea pot just before Christmas and have already broken the glass insert and today I broke the lid which unfortunately is not replaceable. I think the whole structure is too fine and needs to be handled carefully if the user wishes it to last. (Posted on 2/11/12)Rating - Very satisfying Review by davidbye

I have just received this teapot, and I put it to the test with a commercial product (Whittard's 'River of Clouds' green): found it immensely satisfying, an enormous improvement on how it had brewed before. Now I know you can get high on tea! Can't wait to try it on Canton Co's high grade teas. Undoubtedly this kind of pot is indispensable if you want to get the most out of light-brewing teas.Rating

I wanted a glass pot so i could see the leaves steeping and the colour of the tea because that's when I judge how strong it is. This does the job really well. V simple - no gadgetry and easy to remove leaves from tea. Goes in dishwasher so always looks bright and new. (Posted on 6/13/11)Rating - easy brewing and good to see the leaves Review by Colby

Undoubtedly this is the best teapot you could ever ask for. The Teapot itself is made of borosilicate glass, which is resilient, highly heat resistant, and can withstand frequent and vigorous use. The teapot holds enough for two servings, even when filling normal mugs and glasses. The simplicity of the teapot is what truly shines. With the piao I teapots, the drainage mechanism can break, and the filter can become dislodged. The infuser in the straight glass teapot will never break from use, and will work consistently without fear of anything happening. I use my tea pot at least 7 to 8 times a day to make tea. It never fails, and it is easy to clean and store. This teapot is ideal for use with whole leaf tea, and is suitable for those new to tea as well as die hard tea enthusiasts. It is simple to use, and will last forever. I wholeheartedly endorse this product, Because I own it and use it all the time. (Posted on 4/4/11)Rating
