"The website describes it as like a campfire and that’s exactly how it tasted to me. Not too smoky, a natural soft smokiness, and hints of fruit. A quality Lapsang. I was beginning to think I wouldn’t be able to find one."

"The forward taste of this tea is light and smooth, while the smokiness dwells in the aftertaste. The aftertaste also contains almost-fruity notes, following the smokiness. These then meld back into a mellow smoked black tea flavour, which is light, almost like a darjeeling.

I would give this tea an 85/100 on my personal enjoyment scale. It was truly a delectable treat."

"Its one of the few Lapsang Souchongs that really shines without additions, its mellow and smooth enough to be drunk as is, its more rewarding and less abrasive as the products of good smoking should be."
