Superior Pouchong

From our own trusted, long-term source in Taiwan, Farmer Xu (pictured) has produced this glorious high grade pouchong which will delight people new to this particular tea and satisfy those who are already initiated. A delightfully fragrant, extremely moreish, profoundly enjoyable tea, this pouchong consistently wins over anyone who claims not to like green tea. But beyond that it will reward you with complex floral notes, becoming increasingly fruity with successive infusions.

Ideal for summer afternoons. The leaves unfurl fully after the third infusion (depending on length of steeping time) to reveal their full size and beautifully even proportions. The tea liquor is bright and lively with the classic high grown sweetness.

An award-winner (naturally) in the annual Taiwanese Tea Competition.
