I went to 4 star hotel for posh afternoon tea session - they had a great selection of teas. Among their tea list, I found this sweet osmanthus tea - I tried it and I fell in love with it.
Only few tea specialist have this as their normal stock- so I bought this from Canton Tea. I also bought a tea set as I wanted to see it 'flowering' --- absolutely beautiful and unusual.
I do try this tea at home for some special occasions. smell really sweet and lovely, and its after taste is incredible -- sweet nectarine finish. first cup is great but second brew is even better - I brew it over and over again but never loses the sweet flavour. I love it (Posted on 1/29/12)

"The scent reminds me of lilies but with a hint of mandarin with it. Steeped it for 3 minutes then tasted it and it is really good. I expected it to taste perfumy but it doesn’t, slightly nutty with a smooth finish and a clean lingering aftertaste."
