Canton Tea Pyramids: Lapsang Souchong
Lapsang Souchong
The delicious hint of smokiness is present in this world-renowned, classic Wu Yi tea from Fujian province in China. The aroma evokes charred spruces, wood ash, smouldering campfires and cedar- and the taste is complex, full-bodied and deliciously rounded. This is an easy-drinking afternoon tea with a surprisingly light-coloured liquor. It is good to drink with food (it pairs especially well with spicy dishes) and has less caffeine than many other black teas which makes it an elegant after supper digestif and a great alternative to coffee.
Our fabulous, new Canton Tea Pyramids are ideal to take away travelling, visiting friends - or to keep at work. They are biodegradable (made from corn starch) and roomy enough to allow the leaves to expand and release their full flavour.
