Ceramic Teacup (Turquoise)
Ceramic Tea Cups
These contemporary Japanese designed tea cups are made from strong, glazed porcelain. The ideal size for a cup of fine tea - they hold more than a traditional English tea cup and slightly less than a builder's mug. The body is thick enough to prevent them from being too hot to hold - but cleverly tapered at the rim so they feel slim between your lips. Also slightly flared so they won't slip through your fingers. Always white on the inside to show the true colour of your tea.
Capacity: 200 ml
Colour: Turquoise

Useful and decorative asset. Review by David

These teacups have a reassuring solid look and feel about them, you are not like to break them unless you are VERY careless! - though they are very decorative and useful at the same time, and add to the enjoyment of the tea-drinking. They get hot, but you can hold them comfortably just below the flared rim, so you won't burn your fingers. They hold 200ml, maybe a little large for the dedicated tea-heads, but the quantity is is good for the enjoyment of a brew without having to keep jumping up for fresh infusions. Best for greens and oolong. An excellent addition to the tea service! (Posted on 9/9/11)
