Embodiment of perfection

This superb teapot brews Pu-erh tea exeptionaly well, it has a fast pouring time, a wide lid which fits very snugly and an ergonomic shape. The shape of this teapot is what I'd call perfect for Pu-erh tea; high profile, medium size and a wide base.
I've seen a few yixing teapots in my time and can fairly say this has been the best one I've had.

Elegance and quality

Not cheap, but quality is justifying the price. Elegant fast pourer, ideal for puerh teas.
I assigned it the shu pu erh task :) And, from the first brewing (after seasoning), I felt the difference!

A great piece of kit

Seduced by some free samples of puerh teas with orders for other teas it did seem that the infuser, while excellent for oolong and green teas really was not going to be as good as a clay teapot. From a position of complete ignorance, this one had the most elegant shape (to my taste), it was in the middle of the price range, and its specification had Puerhs high up the list of teas it was good at brewing. When it arrived it looked really elegant. I really did exert myself to follow the seasoning instructions, after all an £85 pot is worth looking after! And above all it brews teas which, as far as I can judge, are how they ought to be. It IS expensive but it DOES work; and as I said it looks so elegant. (Posted on 8/17/10)
