Winner of the Hot Beverages Category in the 2012 Soil Association Organic Food Awards
Our own blend of herbal ingredients inspired by ‘Ayurveda’ teas which are based on a traditional Indian system of medicine that treats illness with plant-based remedies. We however, love the flavour and gentle invigorating effect of this aromatic blend.
A mix of Ginger, Fennel Seeds, whole Cardamom pods, Liquorice root, whole Rosebuds and Vanilla that make not only a beautiful looking tea but an easy-drinking and refreshing infusion. The flavour of each individual ingredient is discernible but the overall flavour is balanced and smooth. Ginger is warming and slightly spicy; Fennel seeds give a hint of gentle aniseed flavour; the Cardamom pods are aromatic whilst the Rosebuds are delicate and smooth and the finish is sweet with liquorice root and vanilla.
A totally moreish tea that is soothing and uplifting and is also naturally caffeine free so perfect for drinking at any time of the day. Brew in a glass teapot to fully appreciate the pretty infusion.

Quick Brewing Instructions |
Use 1-2 tsp per 200ml, water temperature boiling, infuse for 3 minutes |

Beautiful to look at and sweet and spicy to taste. also avoids the "twiggy" / "nothing" tastes of a lot of herbal brews. Have just bought a bumper pack. which probably wont last me v long. (Posted on 2/27/13)

both the flowering gift box and the above tea were bought for a friend who was very down-having been offered a cup-guess who is now going to buy a glass tea pot? I was introduced to this at Brewsmiths in Birmingham. It's a fantastic tea, but the thing I enjoy most is the dramatic change in flavours as it infuses. I'm quite a slow tea drinker: while the first cup is full of top/light notes (particularly the rose) the second was a much rounder/ fuller flavour.

I was intrigued with the description of this blend, so ordered a sample to try. I was very pleased with the taste, very well balanced and had quite a calming effect when drinking it. If Canton could come up with a night time type of blend (lavender, camomile, that sort of thing) I'm sure it would be superior too. (Posted on 7/19/12)

I first tried Karma tea being unsure if I would like it due to the cardamon element in the tea. Have you ever bitten into a caradom pod whilst eating a curr?. Not good. The subtle blend of all the elements of the tea, especially the gentle aroma of the rosebuds, is intoxicating and very addictive. Highly recommended. (Posted on 7/4/12)
