I've seen a handful of high-end tea places serving 'chocolate tea' and I think this is where they get it from. You know this tea is special when you open the bag and get smacked with a vanilla-chocolate musty aroma. It's a heady scent, and the tea itself is unmistakably black tea, with real hints of vanilla and chocolate. Best brewed for 90 seconds at a time, otherwise the tea overrides the taste of the chocolate and vanilla. Also, I keep it in a sealed container; otherwise it dies after only a few weeks.

Wonderful replacement of my chocolate eating habits. Now, I finish dinner with a cup of chocolate tea with a little bit of skinny milk in it. It works perfectly for me.

Like a chocolate digestive has been dunked in it! And as someone who is on a reduced calorie diet - it gives me the cocoa hit I need. Delicious!

This is a solid chocolate tea. The tea base is not secondary to the chocolate flavor....it is a quality blend that enhances the chocolate with it's dark stone fruit and cocoa notes. Canton is one of the only tea purveyors that I've found that still utilizes China blacks in their blends, and it is the reason why I keep ordering and paying crazy shipping to get the tea to me in the USA. The only reason I give 4 stars here is because sometimes cocoa nibs can give a tang to things that I'm not a big fan of. If this blend were to use cacao shells instead of the nibs, it just might be unstoppable....but as it currently stands it is still worth every penny it costs to ship 250g to the USA. Well blended, Canton.

I tried this tea at The Chesterfield Hotel in Mayfair, as part of their Charlie & The Chocolate Factory themed Afternoon tea. The flavour is gorgeous - it tastes like you've just dipped a chocolate biscuit in a cup of english breakfast tea. I liked it so much I bought some at the hotel and will continue to buy!

This tea is absolutely gorgeous. To safeguard supplies, I suggest that no-one aged under 60 should be allowed to buy it.

Wow - I haven't even finished my first cup but am feeling compelled to review this already - this is AMAZING! As a dark chocolate lover I often find that hot choc a bit disappointing, but this is fantastic. Tip - even better with a little sugar added. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE will you start supplying this in bags as well, preferably BIG ones!!!!
