Canton Tea Club Launches @ Grand Designs Disco House
by kate on October 10th, 2012
Canton Tea Club is go! After months of hard work, our dream of launching a weekly interactive tea club has taken shape and we celebrated its launch last week at the fabulously imaginative house designed by our friend Ian Hogarth and featured on C4′s Grand Designs earlier this year.
Wearing our best socks (shoes have to be removed at the front door) we served Jasmine Pearls, Jade Tips and Big Red Robe tea (and a bit of Prosecco) while guests enjoyed the achingly cool design features of the house – and an exhibition of photographs from Brighton-based Crane-Kalman gallery.
Art, Architecture and Tea works. We will do it again for a focused tea tasting as it’s such a great venue. Central London, bright white space – and a tap for unlimited instant filtered boiling water.
If you missed out last week and you’d like to be on our mailing list for invitations, events and news – just sign up here….
