1999 CNNP Old Tree cooked puerh brick

A cooked puerh brick aged since 1999.
Made of large leaves from the Menghai area, grade 9 or higher, using the Wo Dui “wet piling” 48 day fermentation method. This is not too intense, so preserves the natural flavour of the leaves and allows for gradual post-fermentation. Aged to perfection, this puerh produces a very clear burgandy liquor.

This puerh was produced by the CNNP factory in 1999 for the Malaysian market. The tea remained unpaid for and languished in Kunming until 2005, when it was offered for sale by auction.

Wrapped in plain white wrapper.

Expected results of ageing: "Sure to be awesome! (already awesome)"
